You'll hear the relaxing sound of the waves from Casa Marina Bahia and see it's waters and sunsets, and the Marina and boats, from the rooftop terrace. Located in between the towns of Potrero and Flamingo, it is known for its stunning sunsets, with boats and yachts twinkling like jewels on the ocean. It is a popular destination for sunbathing, walking, fishing and is home the fabulous Flamingo Marina and its shops and restaurants.
2. Playa Flamingo: Located just a mile south and a literal 3 minute drive from Casa Marina Bahia, Playa Flamingo is a popular destination for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. The beach is known for its beautiful white sands and clear blue waters, and lively waves. 
3. Playa Penca: Just 2.5 miles, and a 10 minute drive away, is undoubtedly one of our favorite beaches, Playa Penca, and it's the beach pictured in this page. A secluded beach located next to the town of Potrero, It’s known for its light sand, clear turquoise waters, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite spot for those seeking a more off-the-beaten-path beach experience. Playa Penca is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying sunsets, and it offers a relaxing escape from the more crowded tourist beaches. 
4. Playa Danta: About 5 miles away and a 15 minute drive from Casa Marina Bahia, it is a tranquil beach located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, near the town of Las Catalinas. Known for its calm waters at low and mid-tide (though the waves can get pretty frisky at high tide!), makes it perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, and snorkeling. 6. Playa Grande: Located about 14 miles north of Playa Potrero, and a 33 minute drive, Playa Grande is a popular surf spot, known for its consistent, powerful waves. The beach is also home to a variety of luxury hotels and resorts.
7. Playa Tamarindo: Located about 15 miles south of Playa Potrero, and a 35 minute drive, Playa Tamarindo is a popular destination for surfing, with consistent waves and a beautiful setting. The beach is also home to a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops.
8. Playa Avellanas: Located about 20 miles south of Playa Potrero, and a 50 minute drive, Playa Avellanas is a popular surf spot, with beginner-friendly waves and beautiful surroundings. The beach is also a great place to relax and soak up the sun.
